Standoffs, also referred to as standoff screws are a type of hardware that elevate the presentation of your signage or photos by creating an eye-catching space between the wall and the mounted material. Standoffs are meant to support a rigid material through drilled holes and are very durable, usually made of aluminum or brass. There are multiple finishes available, such as brushed or chrome, to accentuate your design for a seamless professional look.
The most common placement for standoffs are in the four corners of a square or rectangular acrylic or metal board, installed with drywall anchors and the standoff mounts. We also create custom pieces and can help determine the appropriate number and placement of standoffs to safely mount your signage and have enough support to last for years. Other surface materials can be utilized such as brick or cement, with the appropriate anchors.
